Technology changes, and it's important for a technology company to stay current with both equipment and expertise. To provide our clients and their customers with the best possible Web experience, we employ a number of anti-hacking and anti-viral defenses that are designed to block malicious attempts to gain information or disrupt activities. From a web hosting perspective, we utilize two distinctive operating systems: MacOS and Windows 2000 Server. MacOS-based servers offer high-reliability and top-shelf security features. Windows 2000 Servers offer industrial-strength database-publishing capabilities. From an equipment perspective, we utilize Cisco routers and switches, a 100 Base-T network, and have been operating a full T-1 line since 1995. We have Uninterruptible Power Supplies on all servers, and have a gas-powered generator in case of any extended outage. We have offsite backup as part of our disaster recovery plan. |
