Informational websites, also known as brochure websites, are often an important source of data for clients and/or members. Many businesses and associations use informational websites to distribute news, put forms online, list products and services, and just generally let visitors know what the company or organization is all about.

Just because a site isn't e-commerce enabled doesn't mean that it can't be sophisticated in its approach to information delivery. Some of our largest and most complex websites include those that are not e-commerce enabled, or e-commerce plays a very small role.

Perhaps the most significant development for informational websites has been the advent of the database. Typically when one thinks of a database, they think of a way for a business to store information about a product. While that's true, a database-driven website offers far more. For example, we have an association that wanted to keep its members informed of industry developments. By using a database, the client is able to update their website WITHOUT our intervention, and WITHOUT HTML knowledge. It becomes as easy as filling out a website form. More information about this can be found under the Maintenance section.

We also work with other design firms who need our expertise in site coding and database programming. If your design firm is looking for a firm to partner with for these types of services along with website hosting, and a firm where your clients will be protected (we don't steal clients), please contact us.
